I have been blessed with such a wonderful church family here, and so many of them have allowed me the wonderful opportunity to photograph their children. Each shoot and each child is different but it is always so much fun to see their little (or sometimes big) personalities come out.

Photography has always been something I've enjoyed, but it hasn't been until this past year or so that I've been able to put my passion to the test. I'm still learning when it comes to more "posed" shots, but I don't know that I'll ever tire of chasing down kids for that one perfect moment. Like the one below. These are the two sweetest and most well-mannered, girly girls I've ever met and when I told them to do something silly, well, you see what happened.

As much as I have always loved to write, I find that a picture really is worth a thousand words. My growing knowledge of photography as a personal passion is easily transfered into the ministry setting and summer is one of my favorite times because I get to chase down kids on a daily basis looking for that "perfect" shot. I look forward to sharing more photos soon from both the wedding I'll be shooting at the end of May (it's coming so soon Jen!) and our kiddos here this summer.
