This is my newest project. I found this treasure on craigslist for $10 and was so excited to find it was real wood and not pressboard. I think it will be the perfect size for my new place. I have yet to determine if I am going to paint it or restain it, but I found some great hardware at Home Depot.

I have a friend who, a few years ago, made a lamp out of a clarinet and I have thought I may paint the desk black and install silver hardware and then try and make a lamp myself. I have found several cheap ones on eBay. I guess we'll start with the desk and go from here.
